I'm Amr Thabet. I'm a cybersecurity researcher who worked in some of the top security companies such as Symantec
. Monitoring the top attackers all over the world including nation-state attackers and professional hackers for hire. My job was to analyze their attacks, see how they craft their malware, how they move laterally inside the organization and how they evolve over the years.
I have spoken in top security conferences all around the world including DEFCON, VB Conference and others and have been featured in Christian Science Monitor for my work on Stuxnet.
My mission is to reveal the secrets on how these hackers break into the world most secure networks and how to protect your organization against these attacks.
Prior to that, I struggled to get into the field as I was a mechanical engineer graduate. I faced lots of demotivating voices telling me that I wouldn't be able to make it. And because of that, after my successes, I decided to be the inspiring voice to all cybersecurity enthusiasts that want to land their first job in cybersecurity.
I help lots of students from all continents build their knowledge, experience and most importantly, their irresistible resume to land their next cybersecurity job. Some of them are now working in Trend Micro, Palo Alto, different national CERTs and more.
